Only a few examples are future bets, in which the wager depends upon a consequence that can take place much later, resembling a betting before the season on which team will win the championship; parlays, through which gamblers guess on a number of things and must win the entire bets to obtain the payout, often at very high odds; and proposition bets, during which gamblers guess on very particular results, such because the factors scored by a single player or the variety of instances a certain factor happens in a sport.
